Lakeland Chemistry Club to visit local high school

The Lakeland College Chemistry Club will travel to neighboring Sheboygan South High School on Oct. 24 to make a "Careers in Science" Presentation.
 
The visit is part of the National Chemistry Week Celebration sponsored by the American Chemical Society.
 
The presentation includes demonstrations of different scientific principles in the areas of surface chemistry, pyrotechnics, solution chemistry, biochemistry and chemistry for fun.  In addition, the presentation will include descriptions of career opportunities in the sciences as well as information on the science programs at Lakeland.
