Lakeland College student, teacher present at science meeting

Lakeland student Jessica Gagnon and Jeffery Schwehm, assistant professor of biochemistry, presented their research poster entitled "Qualitative Analysis of Aggregation Prevention of Amyloid Peptide Using Sugars" at the National American Chemical Society Meeting in Chicago on March 26.

Gagnon is a biochemistry major and performed this research with Schwehm as part of the Lakeland Undergraduate Research Experience (LURE) during the summer of 2006.
