Getting Old!

I would always laugh at "old" people that would say "I can't do that, I'm getting old", especially when it came to rides like rollercosters and waterslides.  Well, here is a newsflash...I can now relate!

As I mentioned in my previous blog, we spent a night this past weekend at the Wilderness Resort and Waterpark in the Wisconsin Dells.  My 9 year old is now able to ride all the waterslides and found "The Hurricane" to be his favorite.  The basic idea of the Hurricane is a very large drop into a huge funnel that sends you back and forth up the sides of the funnel at a very high rate of speed.  Here is a picture example of what I am talking about...

I am sure that 10-15 years ago, I would have shared my son's thought that this slide was the greatest thing on earth, but I now think I am just to old for that stuff.  Overall it was a great time, and I did survive The Hurricane...5 times...
