Eureka! I've Found It!

Warm weather that is. FYI, Rockford College has a great wireless internet connection, because I'm seated in my car in parking Lot A and having no trouble whatsoever securing a decent enough connection to post this up. Two and a half hours from now, I will have finished this week's stint of college fairs.

This morning, as well as yesterday morning, I participated in the National Hispanic College Fair in Chicago. It's a fair geared specifically towards minority students. I talked to tens upon tens of students of all ages, freshman through seniors. I really love that part of this job, connecting with the students face to face.

Oh, you're wondering what that title is about? Right, that's what I came here for in the first place...it's 55 degrees out here right now!!!

55 degrees. That's almost 60. I sat outside today after lunch with a good book and read, out in the sun. So, my Wisco friends, students at Lakeland, the warm weather is coming. Give it another week or two, and we're golden. We've made it through another ferocious winter.
