Getting into Lakeland College

What does it take to get in to Lakeland College? Lakeland prides itself on looking beyond the basic facts of ACT score and high school GPA. While these figures have a place in the admissions process, it's a whole lot more than that. We seek the student who wants to learn and be a member of a community that specializes in individual attention, both academic and interpersonal.

Lakeland College accepts students on a continuing basis throughout the year. To maximize your housing selection and financial aid package, we suggest you apply early in your senior year of high school.

We recommend the following high school units of college preparatory work

English: 4 years Social Studies: 2 years
Math: 3-4 years Foreign Languages: 2 years
Natural Sciences: 3 years Additional courses in college preparatory areas

An application form is available online or you may contact the admissions office to have application materials sent. Your admissions file will be complete upon receipt of your official high school transcripts and either ACT or SAT scores.

For more information or to speak with an admissions representative about the details of your application, feel free to contact any of our admissions counselors. They are more than happy to walk you through the admissions process.
