Thinking about fall already...

Here we are only part way through the month of July and my mind is already on the fall season.  In part, this is because we, at the Green Bay Center, have been planning for our fall term for a while and registration will soon open.  In part, it's because I'm not a fan of heat and anxiously await the cool days of fall.  Finally, I know it's due in part to the fact that I can't wait for football season...

In any case, I think the rapid passage of time and the want for it to pass so quickly is getting out of hand!  I came home the other day with a couple of boxes and my husband asked what I had.  I replied that I had some Christmas presents for our son... Christmas presents in July?!?  Whoever thought of such a thing... 

So, I guess my ramblings this time amount to one small message...  Enjoy the things you have at hand today.  Take a moment to look around you and appreciate everything and everyone in your surroundings.  Don't wish for the next "good" day, or the next great thing, rather make today the good day and know that all of the small things around you are, indeed, great!
