Alumni Ambassador Program

Director of Alumni Relations, Lisa Vihos,
and her friend, Musko

We Want You!

We need alumni volunteers from all class years, from all over the country, representing all majors, to become Alumni Ambassadors. The Alumni Ambassador Program links alumni with prospective students to encourage their enrollment at Lakeland College. Alumni Ambassadors are one of the best sources of information about the college and the quality of education available here.

Ambassadors share their enthusiasm for Lakeland College and lend their names and signatures to congratulatory letters to accepted students. Prospective students and parents are encouraged to call you to answer any questions. Click here to fill out an interest form.

We pair you with students who are from your hometown or who are interested in your major. We provide current information and some basic training to prepare you to make the most of your conversation.

You Can Be a Big Fish in Other Ways!

When a student enrolls at Lakeland due to your referral, he or she will receive a $1,000 scholarship that is renewable for four years. This scholarship program applies only to referrals to the traditional undergraduate program click here. To learn about the Kellett School of Adult Education Referral Incentive Program click here.)

We are also looking for Alumni Ambassadors to distribute materials and tell the Lakeland story to high school guidance counselors and to interview prospective students at college fairs. As an Ambassador, you can choose any or all of these duties. It's up to you!

To get involved, contact Lisa Vihos, director of alumni relations, at 920-565-1295 or vihoslb@lakeland.edu.
