Biography:

Carroll was a four-time letterman in basketball and track. He was named all-conference in basketball as a junior and senior, and led the conference in scoring as a junior. He was a hurdler and record-holding pole vaulter in track. He was named Mission House athlete of the year in 1944-45 and 1945-46.
