Biography:Charles was a three-sport letterman in cross-country, basketball and track. He led the 1959-60 basketball team in rebounding and shooting percentage. He captained the cross country team and set Lakeland course records in 1961. He also established the 880-yard sprint medley and mile relay record for the 1961 championship track team.
