Women's Golf Captures First Place

The Muskie women's golf team took first place at the Lakeland College golf tournament at Quit Qui Oc on Tuesday, Sept. 27 against Marian College. Sophomore Janello Zito took second place with a 111, while senior Monica Hetzel captured third with a score of 113.

"I am very pleased with the way Zito and Hetzel played today," said head coach Gary Grzesk. "Hopefully we can continue to improve our scores as the season goes on."

Sophmore Jessica Carter finished with a 127, while fellow sophomore Rebecca Schuettpelz carded a 136 for the Muskies.

The Muskies are back in action on Thursday, Sept. 29 in Madison.
