The Lakeland Muskies dropped their match at the #10-ranked University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point 21-12 on Thursday night. The Muskies had four wrestlers win matches, while two dropped close matches in the final seconds.

The Muskies received victories from sophomore Calvin O'Neal 5-3 at the 174 weight class. Freshman David Copp (125) defeated his opponent 4-2 in overtime, while fellow freshman Casey Klister (133) had a decisive 6-1 victory over Greg Lapinski. Senior Lee Sparks had the final victory with an 8-2 decision in the 197 match.

Dropping close matches for the Muskies were freshman Jonas Flok who allowed Wayne Reis to escape in the final seconds of the opening match for the 3-2 victory and Mitch Nooyen who was taken down with 15 seconds remaining giving Chris Brown a 5-3 win.

The Muskies will next be in action on Saturday, Dec. 3 for an LMC Dual at MSOE.
