UW-La Crosse Defeats Muskies

The Muskies traveled to LaCrosse on Monday, riding a four game winning streak, for a non-conference game against the Eagles of UW-LaCrosse,
The Muskies got on the board first, scoring their only run of the game in the top of the first when senior Matt Andrews RBI single drove in freshman Matt Ambriz.
Eagles pitcher Jake Beitlich would scatter eight hits over the next seven innings and struck out four, keeping the Muskies scoreless after the first inning.
Freshman Tony DeMuth took the loss for the Muskies, giving up seven earned runs and 10 hits in seven innings of work.
Matt Ambriz and junior Brett Nelson both had two hits in the game.
The Muskies (9-17) will next face St. Norbert on Wednesday, April 19 for a 4:00 p.m. game.
