Renee Steinert scored her first double-double on the season as she and the Lakeland women’s basketball teamed rolled over Beloit College, 64-44, Tuesday night.
Steinert poured in 11 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Muskies. She also blocked 5 shots. Kristi Thill scored a game high 16 points and tallied 5 assists, and Sara Langenhorst, who scored the team’s first 8 points of the game, finished with 14.
The Muskies, who only trailed once in the game, shot 45 percent from the field and put the clamps on the Buccaneers defensively, limiting them to a frigid 28.1 percent.
No Beloit player scored in double digits.
Lakeland, now 3-2 on the season, begins LMC play on Saturday when they host Marian on Saturday at 1 p.m.
