Muskies Pick Up Another NAC Win

The women's volleyball team cruised to an easy 3-0 victory (30-27, 30-25, 30-23) over Wisconsin Lutheran in Northern Athletics Conference action in the first of two matches on Saturday, Oct. 21.

The Muskies (16-13, 7-3 NAC) were led on offense by junior middle hitter Shelly Bruni, who tallied 11 kills. Junior outside hitter Ashley Domask also put forth a first-rate effort with 10 kills and a team-high 15 digs.

Sophomore setter Jessica Sparling also aided the defensive effort with 14 digs, while also tallying 40 assists, five kills and two blocks.

Lakeland will play another match today against non-conference rival St. Norbert at 4 p.m.
