Quote from Coach Schreiber:
"We have been playing better volleyball each time we step on the court for about the last month already. This weekend was really no different. There is a huge amount of disappointment to lose in the preliminary round after having a great day Saturday, but we did not go out playing horribly, choking, or anything of the sort. Wisconsin played at an extremely high level starting with their serve receive and we never got our blocking game started. We hit .356 as a team, had no reception errors, and had over 30 digs. It came down to needing a couple of stops that our block was never able to do because of their serve receive and smart attacking. A couple of fortunate bounces went their way, but they created those opportunities with their energy and focus. In sports you always get an opponent's best effort when you are having the kind of season we are having. I don't mind that at all. It is pressure that creates a diamond, so we'll be better again because of this."
