St. Norbert Sweeps Muskies

The Muskies were stymied by St. Norbert pitching on Thursday afternoon, registering just five hits over two games, falling to the Green Knights 7-0 and 2-0.
In game one, the Muskie bats were ice cold. Freshmen Elena Schatz, Jesse Van Camp and senior Monica Hetzel registered the only hits for the Muskies.
Freshman pitcher Kayla Nissen took the loss, giving up seven 11 hits, three earned runs and walked four.
In game two, the Muskie offense would stay cold, as sophomores Allie Lock and Kourtney Peters registered the only two hits.
Sophomore pitcher Rachel Griesbach gave up just five hits in the 2-0 loss.
The Muskies (15-19) will next face Alverno College in Milwaukee on Saturday, April 29. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
