Nick Zeck and Ryan Hiir both scored 20 points as the Lakeland men’s basketball team cruised past the visting Dominican Stars, 70-51, on Saturday afternoon.
Zeck also grabbed nine rebounds, and Kris Saiberlich added 11 points in the winning effort.
Lakeland led the entire game with the help of 57.1 percent first half shooting, jumping out to a 40-20 lead at the break.
Binyamin Jones led the Stars with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Ocie Peet added 15 points.
The Muskies, now 8-10 on the season, will look to avenge an earlier season loss to Marian when they travel to Fond du Lac on Wednesday to take on the Sabres. Tip-off for the game is at 7:00 p.m.
