Muskies Split Pair of Matches at UW-Oshkosh Tournament

The women's volleyball team (6-1, 1-0 in the NAC) was handed their first loss of the season by the University of St. Thomas, ranked fourth in the nation, on Friday night in three games (21-30, 19-30, 20-30).

Earlier in the evening the Muskies downed a talented Elmhurst squad 3-1, despite a slow start. The team dropped the first game 33-35, but battled back to take the next three games with identical scores of 30-28 to secure the win.

The UW-Oshkosh tournament continues for the Muskies on Saturday, September 16, with a double-header. First up will be Carthage College at 12:15 p.m. followed by Loras College at 2:30 p.m.
