The women's volleyball team split a pair of matches during day one of the UW-Platteville tournament on Friday.
The Muskies took down Clarke College with ease in the first match with identical scores of 30-16 for all three games. However, the team was unable to uphold their momentum going into their second match of the night, falling to host UW-Platteville in three games 27-30, 26-30 and 24-30.
Lakeland will play two more matches at UW-Platteville on Saturday, Sept. 30, facing Aurora University at 10 a.m. and Cornell College at 12 p.m.
