The Lakeland College wrestling team went 2-3 over the weekend, competing in the Knox duals at Knox College in Illinois.
The Muskies faced of against LMC conference rival MSOE in their first dual and Elmhurst College in their second dual. The Muskies would fall to both by scores of 36-6 and 40-6 respectively.
In their third dual against Wheaton College, Lakeland pulled out a two point victory, 21-19. The Muskies would also go on to defeat Knox College 28-6. In their final dual of the day, Lakeland fell to Dubuque 37-12.
For the Muskies, Lee Sparks went a perfect 5-0 on the day. Matt Benson went 2-3 on the day, while Tim Vallier and Paul Hart both went 3-2.
The Muskies will next face Concordia on Thursday, January 13. Dual time is set for 7pm.
