Muskies pick up First Conference Win of the Season in Watertown

The Lakeland wrestling team picked up their first conference win of the season tonight, defeating Maranatha Baptist in Watertown, 36-16.

The Crusaders of Maranatha forfeited five weight classes in the victory, and Lakeland's Sam Copp was the only Lakeland wrestler to come out with a victory. Copp defeated Maranatha's Chris Mills 13-1. Lakeland's Nate Johnson also won in an exhibition match.

The Muskies will next take the mat in Wisconsin's Private School Invitational in Milwaukee on Saturday, January 22 at 11am. The event will be hosted by MSOE.
