Muskies defeat host Marian at Triangular

Fond du Lac, WI--The Muskies took on Marian College today in the second game of the Marian Triangular and came out on top, winning three games to none. 

The Muskies looked in complete control, winning the first two matches in stellar form, defeating Marian by scores of 30-15 and 30-6.  The third match however, proved to be tougher on the Muskies, digging themselves a 7-0 deficit.  The Muskies would come storming back taking the match by a final score of 30-24.  With the win, the Muskies move to 5-4 on the season, and remain unbeaten in LMC conference action.  The Muskies next game is Tuesday September 21^st at 7pm.  The Muskies will take on MSOE at the Wehr Center. 

Leaders for the Lakeland effort against Marian included Lana Neuman who added 33 assists, 14 digs, two aces, and one block.  Heather Heberlein added 10 kills, six blocks and three digs.
