The Lakeland women's soccer team lost 6-0 to Northern Athletics Conference foe, Benedictine Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles scored four times in the first half and capped two more in the second half. Ale Farias scored twice for Benedictine.
The Muskies battled hard and played a much better second half. Freshman goalkeeper Ashley Sarbacker (Middleton, Wis) came up big with 14 saves.
Lakeland returns to action Sunday, Sept. 12 in a home non-conference game against Calumet College. Start time is 2 p.m.
