WAUWATOSA, Wis.-- The Lakeland College men's soccer team lost 5-0 against the Milwaukee School of Engineering in the team's last game of the season at Hart Park in Wauwatosa Wis.
The Muskies and the Raiders battled to a scoreless first half, but MSOE proved their dominance, scoring five second half goals. Dan Hosko and Jordan Werner each had a pair of goals to lead the Raiders.
The Muskies end the season 3-10-4 overall, 3-4-4 in the Northern Athletics Conference. Lakeland missed its third straight NAC Tournament appearance by just three points.
Head coach Tony Pierce was disappointed the team didn't make their third NAC appearance, but says the future is bright.
"It's unfortunate we couldn't come up with another win," said Pierce. "The guys had a good season and battled each game. We look forward to next year, especially because everyone returns. We have a lot of work to do in the off season and hopefully we can come back stronger next year."
