The Lakeland men's volleyball team defeated UW-La Crosse 25-22, 25-22, 25-20 in a Wisconsin Volleyball Conference match on Sunday afternoon in La Crosse, Wis.
The Muskies, who are currently second in the NCVF Mizuno Men's Division 1 Rankings, moved to 11-2 overall and 5-2 in the WVC with the victory.
Outside hitter Joe Julkowski (Carol Stream, Wis.) led the offensive attack with 16 kills, while sophomore setter Mitch Wiskirchen (Schaumburg, Ill.) totaled 57 assists.
Sophomore libero Andrew Cheever (Milwaukee, Wis.) picked up 12 digs to lead the defense. Middle hitter Avdo Omerbegovic (Chicago, Ill.) and junior right side Chris Kubacki (Vernon Hills, Ill.) pitched in with four blocks apiece.
Lakeland closes out its three-match road swing this Thursday, Feb. 25, at Marquette at 7:30 p.m.
