Muskies drop fourth straight

The Lakeland College volleyball team dropped another five-set Northern Athletics Conference match, this one a 3-2 setback to Concordia, Wis., Tuesday night at Lakeland. The Falcons won by scores of 20-25, 25-23, 20-25, 25-23, 15-7.

The loss drops Lakeland's record to 3-14, 1-5 NAC, while CUW improves to 16-6, 6-1 NAC.

Senior outside Sam Shepeck led the Muskies on offense with 17 kills on 43 chances for a .302 hitting percentage. Senior setter Kristine Raeder added 50 assists, a season high.

The Muskies return to action on Thursday, Oct. 7, as they host Concordia University Chicago at 7 p.m.
