MADISON, Wis. - Junior Josh Regal's half-court shot bounced off the rim and the Lakeland College men's basketball team suffered a tough 63-61 setback at Edgewood College Wednesday night.
Regal tied the game at 61 when he drained a 3-pointer with 19 seconds left. Edgewood's Cashton Craig hit the game-winner for the Eagles, a short jumper with 3 seconds left.
Lakeland (3-3, 1-3 Northern Athletics Conference) led much of the first half, before Edgewood grabbed the lead just before the break. The Eagles (5-3, 3-0) led by 10 midway through the second half before the Muskies rallied to take a 58-57 lead on a pair of Jack Ridgway free throws with 1:42 to play.

The Muskies return to action Saturday, Dec. 11, when they host Northland International. Tipoff at Woltzen Gym is 4:15 p.m.
