The Lakeland College men's volleyball team (18-27) ended their season on Saturday, losing to Boston University 2-1 (22-25, 25-19, 15-13) in the first round of the Bronze bracket.
Sophomore outside hitter Josh Tucek (Elwood, Ill.) led the Muskie attack with eight kills. Freshman outside hitter Gilbert Mclean (Miami, Fla.) added six kills.
Senior setter Chris Kubacki (Vernon Hills, Ill.) led the Muskies with 18 assists and six blocks. Junior libero Andrew Cheever (Milwaukee, Wis.) led Lakeland with eight digs.
Sophomore outside hitter Dane Maier (Middleton, Wis.) led the Muskies with 35 kills. Junior middle hitter Jared Sparrey added 27 kills and 21 blocks, while Tucek had 21 kills.
Kubacki finished the tournament with 115 assists and a team high 22 blocks while Cheever finished with 42 digs.
