Freshman goalkeeper Katelyn Streeter recorded three saves, but the Lakeland College women's soccer team suffered a 5-0 loss to Dominican University in Northern Athletics Conference play Saturday afternoon.
The Muskies (3-10, 2-5) had a couple of chances to score in the first 10 minutes of action, but Dominican's defense held up as they went on the attack and struck in the ninth minute of action.
The Stars capped another goal at the 30:00 mark to take a 2-0 lead at halftime. Dominican struck in the second half as they netted three goals en route to a convincing conference victory.
Despite the result of the game, head coach Tony Pierce was pleased with the team's overall efforts. See what he says about today's game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGUa_nipY2k
