Muskies drop season opener

The Lakeland College women's volleyball team fell to St. Norbert College in their season opening match in the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Invitational.

The Muskies (0-1) just couldn't get in rhythm as they fell in straight games, 3-0 (12-25, 24-26, 21-25).

"We just didn't look like we wanted to be out there," said Lakeland coach Jon Staabs. "We just couldn't do anything right. When we finally got up in game two, we just couldn't stay focused and let it get away."

The Muskies continue play in the UW-Whitewater Invitational tonight at 7:30 p.m.
