The women's volleyball team rebounded from a tough Friday night, to win two matches on Saturday, 3-0. Lakeland defeated Edgewood College 30-12, 30-20, 30-18 and Alverno 30-19, 30-15, 30-27 at a triangular hosted by Alverno.
Freshman Heidi Kramer tallied 10 kills for the Muskies, while senior Lana Neuman and sophomore Rachel Young led the defense with seven digs each in the first match against Edgewood.
In the second match against Alverno senior Danielle Duranceau notched ten kills and Neuman recorded nine digs.
With the victories the Muskies improved their record to 3-3 in LMC conference play and 6-3 overall. The Muskies conclude their nine game road trip this week with a match at Marian on Sept. 20 and a weekend tournament at UW-Whitewater on Sept. 23-24. Lakeland will return home to play Alverno on Sept 27.
