Muskies show improvement at Eastbay Invitational

The Lakeland College track and field team scored its first points of the season at the Stevens Point Eastbay Invitational.

The Muskies got another strong showing from senior Joey Salazar () who set another personal record, running sixty meters in 7.27 seconds, placing 15th. He also anchored Lakeland's 4x200 meter relay team, which scored one point for the Muskies. Freshmen Dylan Grimsrud, Patrick Johnson and Yaphay Harvey are the other members of the relay team.

Lakeland returns to the track on Saturday, Feb. 25, as the Muskies travel to Kenosha, Wis., to take part in the Northern Athletics Conference Indoor Championship at Carthage College. Events begin at 9 a.m.
