Gile's grand slam powers Muskies

Sophomore Chelsea Gile hit a grand slam to lead the Lakeland College softball team to a convincing 9-1 win over Nazareth College Friday afternoon at the Tucson Invitational in Tucson, Ariz.

The Muskies finish the Invitational with a 3-7 record and head into Northern Athletics Conference play on a high note on March 28 against Alverno College.

Gile ended the game going 2-for-3 at the plate and a double, while junior Jenny LaLuzerne went 3-for-4 with a double.
