The 7-7 Muskies took the Blue Angels in five innings in both games with a 13-1 win in game one and a lopsided 17-1 win in game two. The sweep also moves head coach Chad Buchmann to 13 games from breaking Lakeland's all time win record.

Sophomore Sammy Rieder (New Holstein) led the Muskies at the plate with a grand slam in a 10-run first inning in game one. Rieder finished the doubleheader 5-for-5 with six RBIs and four runs.

Lakeland controlled the entire series with Mt. Mary, including recording 23 hits to go along with 27 RBIs. Defensively, the Muskies only gave up five hits and allowed just two runs.

Junior Erin Henk improved her pitching record to 5-3 after game one, while freshman Elizabeth Zimmerman earned her second win of the season in game two.
