Indoor Soccer

Hello again.

I don't really have a whole lot to update you about but I'll do my best to make this worth your while to read. First off I believe I mentioned in my last post that our game was canceled and reschedule to Thursday, October 28th. Well we played MSOE and we lost 5-0 unfortunately. With that loss we did not make the conference tournament and our season ended on a rather depressing note. I was pretty upset about it actually because even though we weren't playing all that well and we didn't have a spectacular season, the soccer team was more like a family than anything. We've been putting in countless hours every week since mid-August and I've gotten to know my teammates really well since then. Having the season end was a little bit depressing, but on a positive note I had a week off to rest up before indoor soccer started!!

Speaking of indoor (what a transition) we had our first indoor game of the year in Appleton tonight. We won 6-1 and even though we looked a little rusty, we played relatively well. I'm thinking the indoor season should be a successful one... (If you are interested in watching a game go to soccerheavensports.com and check out the schedule for U17+ Men. We are LC United).

I'm not sure I have a whole lot more to tell you guys. I'm looking forward to bean bag league tomorrow night. Week 1 went well, as my teammate and I are 2-0. We will be looking to stay undefeated tomorrow night, I'll keep you posted on that in another blog. Other than that though, hope everyone is doing well. Maybe I'll see some of you on preview day on the 13th?...
