Thanksgiving
Posted on 11/28/2010 6:14:52 PM

Hello everyone.

I just wanna start this blog off by saying that I hope everyone had a very good, safe, and fun Thanksgiving Break! I know that I enjoyed my Thanksgiving and my time off from school very much! I'll tell you a little about my Thanksgiving in hopes that whom ever reads this will comment on this blog and share a little story about their Thanksgiving...

My break started Tuesday night, after classes were done, but I stayed at Lakeland over night because I was working in the Admissions office on Wednesday morning. After working for most of the morning on Wednesday, I packed my stuff and I headed home for break. After arriving home I spent the evening with some high school friends and we sure had a lot of catching up to do. Thursday was Thanksgiving, as you all know, and every year my family has the same traditions. We sleep in and then head over to my grandma's house for an afternoon meal. We stayed at my grandma's house with my entire family until late in the evening before heading back home and getting ready for bed. Friday came and I had my annual Thanksgiving football game with all my friends from High School. We had 20 guys show up this year and we played football at High School game field and it was a blast (although I was quite sore afterwards). My team won 49-28 and I contributed with 4 touchdowns and a fumble recovery. (:

After the football game I showered and changed and got ready to head to my girlfriends house in Wisconsin Rapids. After arriving there we ate dinner with her family and then went into the next town to meet up with a bunch of her friends. Saturday came quickly and we woke up and went to the Cranberry Classic, a boys and girls High School basketball tournament held at her High School. We watched her old High School team play a game and then headed back to her house to get ready for church. After church, we met the rest of her family at a restaurant for dinner before going to her aunt's house to play the Wii. Sunday morning we woke up and watched a little bit of the Packer game before we left to come back to my house for a family dinner here. We actually just got done eating and I thought I would write this blog while my laundry was in the dryer. So that was basically my Thanksgiving Break... hope you enjoyed my story. (:

Now, like I mentioned at the beginning of this blog I want to hear some of your stories about Thanksgiving. I've been trying to get people to comment on my blog from the very beginning, but since no one has, I really want to hear about Thanksgiving!!

Hope you all enjoyed what I had to say, and I'm looking forward to hearing your stories!

Take care!

Ben
