2006 Football Preview
Lakeland College head football coach Jim Zebrowski always sets the same three goals for his team: win the Cheese Bowl, win the Illini-Badger Football Conference title and earn a trip to the NCAA Division III Playoffs. In the 2005, the Muskies accomplished all three goals.
They captured the Cheese Bowl Trophy with a win over rival Concordia, Wis., for the first time in six years. They won their second straight IBFC championship, and with that title earned advancement to the NCAA Division III Playoffs.

Royal
A senior biology major from Oak Park, Mich., Eric is poised to close out his Lakeland football career with a stellar season. The wide receiver caught 18 passes last year for a total of 288 yards and three touchdowns as well as averaging 32 yards per game. The Muskies' standout was also named honorable mention on the all-Illini-Badger Football Conference team.

Helbing
The lone senior on this year's women's volleyball team, "Er-Bear" is a vocal leader and has a promising season in front of her serving as one of the team's captains.
Erin, a Cuba City native who is working toward a double major in business management and marketing, is extremely involved in campus life as she has participated in LC-Campus Activities Board, Student Association and as a writing tutor.

 Muskies Look to Continue Winning Ways for 2006 Volleyball Season
Coming off five straight conference championships and four straight NCAA tournament appearances, the Lakeland College volleyball team is poised for another stellar season.
Despite the loss of seven seniors, the Muskies will once again look to continue on their success under the direction of head coach Chad Schreiber, who enters his 12th season.
