Lakeland College's Annual Fund - it's about...
Providing educational opportunities!
Enabling great teachers to impact the lives of young people!
Giving back to help others to help themselves!

Named in honor of the college's founding year, The 1862 Society has been established to recognize and encourage leadership-level sustaining gifts to Lakeland College.
During this inaugural year, donors of $1,862 or more to the Annual Fund would become founding members of The 1862 Society.

Annually, more than 2,000 individuals, corporations, and foundations support the college through a variety of types of charitable gifts.
Each gift, no matter the size, helps to deliver the promise of a Lakeland College education to our students of today and tomorrow.

When Mission House was founded in 1862, the German and Swiss immigrant forefathers embraced higher education and religion in their combined academy-college-seminary.
Lakeland's Founders' Society helps the college keep those intentions alive.
