Lakeland College's Annual Fund
Did you know that tuition fees and endowment income fail to cover the total cost of a Lakeland College education? Similar to most colleges, there is a gap between the cost to educate a Lakeland student and the income generated from tuition and endowment. This gap in funding is in essence a "silent scholarship" for every student.
Each year this funding gap must be bridged by generous gifts to The Annual Fund from alumni, friends, parents, faculty, staff, corporations, and foundations. This year, the goal of The Annual Fund is $1 million.
Gifts to The Annual Fund help to underwrite four essential areas at Lakeland:
- Student scholarships
- Faculty salaries and professional development
- Academic and extracurricular programs
- Maintenance of Lakeland's campus.
Lakeland College's Annual Fund ― it's about …
- providing educational opportunities!
- enabling great teachers to impact the lives of young people!
- giving back to help others to help themselves!
Please make your gift to The Annual Fund by June 30, 2008. Go Muskies!
