Founders' Society

When Mission House was founded in 1862, German and Swiss immigrants embraced higher education and religion in their combined academy-college-seminary.

Today, Founders' Society members  insure that the same values and goals continue through their planned gifts to the college. Membership is achievable through a bequest, an estate gift or a special deferred gift. Other ways include:
  • Creation of a Charitable Gift Annuity
  • Establishing a Charitable Remainder Trust
  • Participating in the Pooled Income Fund
  • Naming Lakeland College as a beneficiary of an insurance policy
  • Assignment of retirement benefits
