Fifty years! Can you believe that Professor J. Garland Schilcutt has been teaching at Lakeland College since 1958?

His dedication to the thousands of students over the past half century is legendary. No one professor, in our 146-year history, has taught at Mission House or Lakeland College longer than Prof Schilcutt. He's done it all. Prof's been a teacher, dean, resident director, administrator, wrestling coach (for a very brief time), club (too many to list) advisor, mentor, and trusted friend. Prof influences countless lives through his teaching, kindness and generosity.
