LURE program

A gift of $2,500 supports a student internship in the Lakeland Undergraduate Research Experience (LURE) program. Upper-level biology, biochemistry and chemistry majors apply to participate in a 10-week, full-time, paid internship program to design, conduct and analyze their own scientific research projects. Students are under the guidance of a faculty member and present their findings at a national research symposium. The total cost of this program is $20,000 to $25,000 per year.
