Ordering Caps & Gowns & Hoods
- Rent your Cap & Gown from the Campus Shop. All orders should be completed by March 13.
- You may pick up your Cap & Gown anytime the week of graduation. As soon as you receive it , try it on and make sure it fits.
- Iron your gown or have it steamed to remove wrinkles.
- On graduation day, we suggest that the women wear a dress or dress slacks and the men wear dress pants and white dress shirt.
Attending the Rehearsal - Saturday, May 2
- All graduates are encouraged to attend the 2:00 pm Commencement rehearsal. This will help you understand what will be taking place during the ceremony and how graduates will proceed in, accept their diploma, and march out at the conclusion of the ceremony.
Graduation Celebration - Saturday, May 2
- You will receive a formal invitation to the celebration from the Office of Alumni Relations. Graduates must RSVP to attend.
- This event is free for all graduates. You will be able to invite up to three guests (in addition to yourself) at a cost of $15 each.
- Space is limited.

Graduation Breakfast & Lunch - Bossard Hall - Sunday, May 3
- Breakfast is served from 9:00 a.m. - 10 a.m. and the cost is $4.50 per person. Graduates are free.
- Lunch is served from 11:00 a.m. - 1.00 p.m. and the cost is $7.50 per person. (Ages 10 and under $5.50) Graduates are free.
Lining Up for Commencement
- We ask all graduates to assemble in full academic attire no later than 1:15 p.m. at the Bradley Building. You will be lining up in alphabetical order according to your last name.
Graduation Seating
- All seating is first-come-first-served. A section is reserved for our guests in wheelchairs.
All guests who wish to attend the live commencement ceremony in the Wehr Center must have a ticket to be admitted. Honor marshalls will be taking tickets at the door. Each participating graduate will be mailed four tickets to give to their guests for seating in the Wehr Center. This seating is located on the main floor, immediately behind the graduates, and in the bleachers.

The rates listed in the booklet for the Inn on Woodlake are not correct. The correct rates are $225 for Saturday and $180 for Sunday.
