Lakeland College offers many opportunities for international study abroad.

Students are invited to spend a semester or year studying in Tokyo through The Study Abroad at Lakeland College Japan Program.
Pursuant to the college's mission to prepare students for life in a diverse global society, to its intent to make the campus both a port of entry to the world for American students and a port of entry to American higher education for students from around the world, Lakeland maintains an accredited branch campus in Tokyo, Japan. Located in central Tokyo, this branch campus offers Japanese students an intensive pre-academic English language program and an accredited Associates of Arts (A.A.) degree program. Lakeland College is a member of the Association of American Colleges and Universities in Japan and operates its program in accordance with the 36 "Principles of Good Practice in Overseas International Programs for Non-U.S. Nationals." Small class sizes are maintained and all classes are conducted in English. Lakeland College is proud to be the first American private college to receive official Japanese government recognition for its campus in Japan.
The college maintains an exchange program in Germany. All students with knowledge of German, regardless of major, are eligible for the foreign study semester at Hessen Universitaet in Kassel, Germany.
Lakeland College has a sister-school relationship with colleges and universities in China, Germany, Korea, and Taiwan. For more information, please contact Patrick Liu at international@lakeland.edu. Phone: (920)-565-1337.
