From Airport to Campus

Sheboygan Community

There are two international airports within easy driving distance of Lakeland College; Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee http://www.mitchellairport.com (approximately 1.5 hour by car) and O'Hare International Airport in Chicago http://www.flychicago.com/ohare/home.asp (approximately 2.5 hours by car).

Each term, for a period of three days before the beginning of the international student orientation, the college picks up international students at Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee and transports them by car to the campus. To arrange to be picked up, simply inform our international student advisor of your flight information.

If you arrive at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago, you may take a bus to Milwaukee International Airport. The bus service between the two airports is called Wisconsin Coach. There are about 14 runs every day, almost one every hour. You don’t need to buy the bus ticket in advance. Just pay your bus fare while onboard. Please visit http://www.wisconsincoach.com/mil-chi.htm for the detailed bus schedule.

New International Student Orientation

During this orientation, you will take part in programs designed to help you adjust to life on campus and to familiarize you with the community and the services provided by the college. This special orientation is required for all new international students.
