Lakeland College celebrated academic achievement, awarded a new student scholarship, honored a popular staff member and shared singing, dancing and original poetry with a full house in the Bradley Theatre at Saturday’s Essence of Heritage event. Four accomplished Lakeland College graduates spent several hours Tuesday talking to current Lakeland students as part of the 2015 Science Colloquium. The alumni first conducted a panel discussion in front of more than 80 Lakeland students, then later met with smaller groups in classrooms.
