There were dozens of hugs and more than a few tears of joy during a ceremonial signing ceremony last week at Plymouth High School for senior Brandon Herrin. Herrin signed a letter-of-intent in front of family and friends, celebrating his full-tuition, four-year leadership-based Lakeland College Sheboygan Scholars Program scholarship. Lakeland College senior Tanner Hackl is the 2015-16 Student Employee of the Year. The native of West De Pere, Wis., was honored for his work as a graphic designer in the college’s marketing and communications departments. Judging by the smiles and laughter, last year’s inaugural, sun-drenched Muskies Success Extravaganza was a huge hit with Lakeland College students and staff.
