2012 Lakeland College Blasters Celebrates 25th Anniversary at the Sesquicentennial All-College Reunion
In 1987, the first Blasters Golf Tournament was held to raise money for student scholarships. Twenty-five years later alumni and friends of the college continue to come together to raise money for student scholarships. Your commitment to this annual event has given the college an opportunity to award over $78,000 in student scholarships.
As you can see, the 2012 Lakeland College Blasters Classic Golf Tournament is a special time to connect with alumni, friends, and our community. Lakeland College celebrates its Sesquicentennial year with the All-College Reunion, June 21-24, and Blasters is a part of the excitement. Make plans to join us on Friday, June 22 for the event of the summer!
For Blasters 2012, you can choose your tournament:
Moose Woltzen Cup - The Bull at Pinehurst Farms, Sheboygan Falls WI
- Individual fees: $200 per golfer; $800 per foursome
- 10:00 a.m. Shotgun start
- Shamble format
- 18-holes of golf with cart
- Lunch - Burger/Brat and Beverage at the turn
- All Tournament amenities
- Hors d'oeuvres Reception on the Lakeland College campus
Mike Devaney Cup - Town & Country, Sheboygan WI
- Individual fees: $100 per golfer; $400 per foursome
- 10:00 a.m. Shotgun start
- Scramble format
- 18-holes of golf with cart
- Lunch - Burger/Brat and Beverage at the turn
- All Tournament amenities
- Hors d'oeuvres Reception on the Lakeland College campus
Millennium Cup - Town & Country, Sheboygan WI
- Individual fees: $50 per golfer; $200 per foursome
- 10:15 a.m. Shotgun start
- Scramble format
- 9-holes of golf with cart on the Riverwoods course
- Hors d'oeuvres Reception on the Lakeland College campus (4:00-6:00 p.m.)
Following golf, all alumni, friends, golfers, and non-golfers will return to the Lakeland College campus to celebrate the day with a reception in the Sesquicentennial Square (Moose & Dona Woltzen Gymnasium). The reception also welcomes guests that plan to attend the Season of Muskie Athletics banquet.

Proceeds from the 2012 Blasters will provide vital financial support to deserving students through the College's Greatest Opportunity Scholarship Fund and to fund upgrades in equipment and facilities that enhance the student-athlete experience.
