Rick Dodgson

Dr. Rick Dodgson, Assistant Professor of History, joined the faculty in 2007. In addition to teaching courses on world and American history, Dodgson is writing a book about Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters. He is also hard at work on the Lakeland Oral History Project, an effort dedicated to collecting oral histories related to the college. In his free time, Dodgson enjoys participating in the local music scene, cycling, and playing frisbee golf.

Krista Feinberg

Dr. Krista Feinberg, Associate Professor of History, holds a doctorate from Indiana University. She joined the faculty in 2006. Feinberg's research interests include the Guajiro Indians from Venezuela and smuggling networks in the early twentieth century. She is also actively involved in the Wisconsin Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies and the World History Association. Feinberg enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons. They are particularly fond of camping, playing soccer and ice hockey, fishing, and hiking.

Richard Wixon

Dr. Richard Wixon is the Offenheiser Chair in History and Political Science. Wixon has been teaching for over twenty-five years, with more than fifteen of those at Lakeland. Students frequently refer to him as an "encyclopedia of knowledge." Wixon was awarded the Underkofler Excellence in Teaching Award in 1996 and the Outstanding Teaching Award from the Alumni in 2001. He has a wife and three sons and enjoys camping and traveling by train.
