Employers

The Career Development Office can assist your company in finding Lakeland students to meet your needs. We are interested in partnering, so that students can find relevent internships, part-time jobs, professional experiences, and full-time employment. Below is a brief listing of the services we have to to offer with employers in mind!

Internships

- If you are interested in hosting/supervising a student as an intern, please read this handout and learn more about the expectations/deadlines. Then, post the position on-line through Career Connect. If you have questions, contact us, we would be happy to help!

Career Connect

Post Part-time/Full-time Jobs

- If you are looking for a student to work a few hours or full-time, please check out our Career Connect page and create a profile. For step-by-step instructions, please check out our Employer Guide. Use Career Connect to Post full and part time jobs with 20 private colleges all for FREE!

Become a Mentor

- We invite professionals in the area to register with the Career Development Office and Career Connect to become a Mentor. Through this program, you may have a student contact you to ask a few questions about your position, complete a few hours of job shadowing, or you can select to be contacted for campus events and programs. We have programs on a regular basis where we ask professionals to sit on panels, enjoy an etiquette dinner with the students, or assist with mock interviews.
